We’d like to thank you for your continued support which provides members professional development, networking, and advocacy for school meals.
We recognize that the financial support we receive from vendors like you makes these member services possible and does come with expectations for opportunities to engage and connect with our members and conference attendees and venues to promote the brands, products, and services that make school meals possible in the great state of Alaska.
The 2023 Award Banquet did not meet our expectations as far as member participation and engagement; we can only imagine this was disappointing for our vendors as well. We can certainly blame three years of pandemic closures, virtual conferences, supply chain issues, inflation, etc., but we recognize that it is our job to recognize and adapt to these changes so we can deliver the best experience possible to our members, vendors, and attendees.
We are looking at areas that we can improve and we would like your feedback. We want to know what went well and what didn’t; most importantly, we want to know what we can do next year to make this the best banquet yet.
We look forward to your feedback and thank those of you that choose to continue to support the Alaska School Nutrition Association and its members.
